Blueprint Reading
Covers: By the end of this class you should:
  1. Have an elementary knowledge of blueprint reading as it relates to building construction projects.
  2. Understand in general terms the design process and the role of design professionals.
  3. Be able to find trade information using blueprints
  4. Be able to answer basic construction questions related to the layout and installation of materials at the jobsite.
  5. Be able to identify elementary problems or short comings of the blueprints you are using.

Assessment Preparation
Covers: NCCER offers a complete series of entry- and journey-level assessments. These assessments evaluate the knowledge and skill level of an individual in a specific craft area.

All assessments are based upon the Contren Learning Series curriculum and have been developed in conjunction with Prov, NCCER's test development partner.

NCCER also offers a series of academic tests for secondary career and technical education. These tests can assist states in implementing statewide accountability systems.
ATSSA Flagger Certification
Covers: This 4-hour course is endorsed by the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) and the Federal Highway Administration. APM Flagger Instructors are authorized trainers of this ATSSA course. The course is based on the MUTCD Federal requirements and includes discussion of specific State requirements.

Electricity Tutorials
At Mason Government Center
Covers: Tutorials for all levels presented in our programs. These tutorials are presented on Friday nights and Saturday mornings as requested.
Electronics & Home Automation
At Mason Government Center
Covers: Principles of Home Automation. It includes Basic Electronics, Integrated Networks that lets you assure your customer that their structured cabling system has been properly designed and installed using high quality components and installation practices and will meet or exceed system specifications. 30 Hours of instruction.

Group Discount:
Discounts are available through participating county programs, churches and non-profit organizations. Scholarships from local construction companies are also available. Our friends and family referral program, in clusters of 3 students or more, can bring the cost down by $25 per student per session.

Early Registration Discount:
Full registration payment must be received 2 weeks prior to start. This will entitled to a $25 savings in your tuition program. A written confirmation will be provided upon receipt of registration.

Payment:
A $125.00 deposit is required to register. The balance is due the second week of classes.

Registration & Check Out:
Schedule: Registration takes place on the first day of courses, between 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. Following registration and check-in, orientation will take place to introduce the staff, facilities and discuss the course objectives and answer any questions students may have.

Refund Policy:
Cancellations made one week after the start of courses will be subject to a $50.00 administrative fee. However, all registration fees and deposits may be deferred and applied toward a tuition payment for courses offered later in the year.
